Environmental Graphics and Visual Identity for an open-air museum reviving the lost architectural profile of Vilnius.
Lithuanian National Museum announced an open call for proposals to design a temporary pavilion to host a very important and sensitive exposition which should step out of the enclosed spaces of the museum and enter the city park in front of the museum building – in a UNESCO heritage old town of Vilnius, just in front of the Gediminas Castle hill. Succeeding to propose a new way of museum – an open exposition dispersed in the New Arsenal park.
Throughout the half a year, the temporary pavilion ‘Atlas’ hosting an exhibition of Vilnius city 200 years ago became the most visited exhibition of Lithuanian National Museum. The temporary pavilion inhabited a never-seen-before model of Vilnius city meticulously recreated from recently discovered historical maps and drawings from the archives that the Lithuanian National Museum discovered and have brought to the daylight to compose this specific exhibition.

Akkad is an experimental typeface inspired by the technical limitations of small-scale typography found in woven clothing labels. Built solely on vertical modules, the typeface mimics the mechanics of embroidered graphics, where the profile of a typeface is defined by the thickness of the thread and the specifics of the fabric itself.
Visual Identity for Baba Gemüse Kebap: A new kebab spot in Kaunas where the authentic Berlin gemüse kebap experience meets the vibrancy of 1960s Turkish psychedelic rock.
Inspired by the naivety and boldness of folk graphic design prevalent in the streets of İstanbul or Ankara, the visual identity aims to capture the spirit of design without designers: unexpected color treatment, liberal typographic selection, and extensive decoration—all blended into a vivid graphical language.

(Urge (previously Vieta) is a mobile app encouraging socially responsible actions and self-betterment. Our task was to design a new name and a new verbal and visual identity.
App’s primary audience is gen-z teenagers and young adults, often struggling socially, economically and psychologically. They experience high anxiety levels and frustration of feeling trapped, which gave birth to the name and its construction.
Both the name and main slogans start with an open bracket. Not closing it symbolises a wall torn down, a way out. The urge is the force behind it. The modified letter “r” emphasises the sense of misfit and defiance against the status quo.

The culmination of this project resulted in the publication of a book titled: “Soviet Logos: The Lost Marks of Utopia.”
The book not only comprises of a collection of more than 360 carefully redrawn marks, but also provides a thorough analysis of the ambiguous functions of Soviet logos. With the help of social, economic and cultural discourse of the times, the functions of Soviet logos are analyzed in order to reveal their utopian nature.
